How much space do you need for the hot tub?

2 Metre x 2 Metre surface is sufficient to install our hot tubs.

 

How do I get the hot tub to where I would like it?

The hot tubs are collapsible and are stored in boxes that can be carried through any standard door or garden gate.

 

Can I have the hot tub installed anywhere?

All hot tubs MUST be installed on a structurally sound, relatively smooth and level surface that is free of sharp objects and is strong enough to support it when filled. We will inform you if the location that you want the hot tub installed is not suitable.

 

How much does the hot tub weigh when filled up?

The hot tub weighs approximately 1300 Kg when filled with water.

 

What size are the hot tubs?

Approximately 700mm (27.5 “ High.) and 1.9 M (6 ft in diameter.)

 

How much water will we need?

SPA-n-a-BOX has a capacity of up to 1250 Litres.

 

Can our hot tubs be used outdoors?

Our hot tubs can be used all year round even in the rain and snow! You just need to have the space in your garden or patio for outdoor use.

 

Can I move the hot tub once it has been delivered?

Once the hot tub is filled up, you must not try to move it. When our hot tubs are delivered, you sign an agreement stating that you will not attempt to move the hot tub.

 

How soon after delivery can we use the hot tub?

If cold water is used then you need to wait 12-18 hours, this is why we deliver all our hot tubs a day before they are needed. However if a hot fill is used then the spa can be used 1-2 hours after filling, giving you an extra days use.

 

How Hot Can The Hot Tub Get?

The water in a spa or hot tub should never exceed 40°C (104°F). Water temperatures between 38°C (100°F) and 40°C (104°F) are considered safe for a healthy adult. Lower water temperatures are recommended for extended use (exceeding 15 minutes) and for young children.

 

How do I maintain the heat in the hot tub?

Place cover on hot tub and lock it place.

Please note: Cover must be in place for the hot tub to heat properly.

 

How do I control the temperature in the hot tub?

The digital display on the power pack displays the current water temperature, this can be easily adjusted by using the + and buttons.

 

How much will the hot tub cost to run?

Depending on your desired temperature and amount of use, between 20p and 50p per day.

 

Do we need to use any chemicals?

When the hot tub is delivered, our engineer will fill your spa and add the correct amount of chemicals to the water. Then once per day or before use, check the chemical level using supplied test strips. This is a visual test and is easy to do and our engineer will take you through all the steps as part of the installation. The required amount of test strips & chemicals for the hire period are supplied by us.

 

Can we drink and eat in the hot tub?

Of course. But we strongly recommend using plastic glasses.

 

Will my floor get wet?

Yes, your floor will get wet. We recommend using the hot tub outdoors or in a place where water can easily drain away. The amount of water spilled depends on how many people are in the hot tub, the number of times people get in and out and if the turbo jets are running.

 

How many people can we fit in?

You can fit between 4 and 6 adults depending on their size

 

Do I need to Shower before getting in the hot tub?

Yes, this helps to keep the water clean which means you have a better and healthier hot tub experience.
